Rotary vane vacuum pump is mainly composed of pump body, rotor, vane, end cover, spring, etc. A rotor is eccentrically installed in the cavity of the vane pump. The outer circle of the rotor is tangent to the surface of the pump cavity (there is a small gap between them). Two rotors with springs are installed in the rotor groove. When the rotor rotates, the vane can slide back and forth along its radial groove and always contact with the inner wall of the pump shell. The vane rotates with the rotor, and the vacuum pump cavity can be divided into several variable volumes.
Pay attention to the following matters when operating the rotary vane vacuum pump:
1. Before using the rotary vane vacuum pump, ensure that the pump is clean and prevent foreign matters from entering the pump. Check the oil level. It is better to fill the oil to the center of the oil mark when the pump is stopped. If it is too low, it can not seal the oil of the exhaust valve and affect the vacuum degree. If it is too high, it will cause fuel injection when starting with atmosphere. During operation, the oil level rises, which is a normal phenomenon. The specified brand of clean vacuum pump oil is used and added from the oil filling hole. After refueling, screw on the plug. The oil should be filtered to prevent foreign matters from entering and blocking the oil hole. Add vacuum pump oil according to the oil mark. Rotate the three-way valve to connect the suction pipe of the pump with the atmosphere, and isolate it from the evacuated container, and open the exhaust port.
2. When the ambient temperature is too high, the oil temperature will increase, the viscosity will decrease, and the saturated vapor pressure will increase, which will cause the limit vacuum to decrease, especially the full pressure measured by thermocouple. If the ventilation and heat dissipation are strengthened or the performance of pump oil is improved, the limit vacuum degree can be improved.
3. Vacuum pump should not be used to remove the gas with high oxygen content, explosive and corrosive to metal. In addition, it is not suitable to inhale gas which can react with pump oil and gas containing a large amount of water vapor.
4. The pump can be started in the atmosphere or any vacuum degree. If the solenoid valve is installed at the pump port, it should be operated with the pump at the same time.
5. After the pump operates normally, slowly rotate the three-way valve to make the suction pipe of the pump connected with the evacuated container and isolated from the atmosphere.
6. Turn the pulley by hand, check the running condition, turn on the power supply and pay attention to the direction of rotation.
7. After using for a period of time, the belt becomes loose and the motor position should be adjusted. Pay attention to replenish the pump oil. If it is found that there are impurities or water in the pump oil, replace the new oil and clean the pump body. It is not allowed to clean the pump body with volatile liquid such as acetic acid ethyl alcohol and acetone.
8. Check the limit vacuum of the vacuum pump with the compression type mercury vacuum gauge as the standard. If the pump temperature is stable after full pre pumping test, the pump port is directly connected with the meter, and the limit vacuum will be reached within 30 minutes of operation. The value measured by the total manometer is related to the pump oil, vacuum gauge and regulation error, and sometimes the error may be very large.
9. If the relative humidity is high, or the extracted gas contains more condensable steam, it is advisable to open the gas ballast valve after connecting the extracted vessel, and close the gas ballast valve after 20 ~ 40 minutes of movement. Before stopping the pump, the air ballast valve can be opened for 30 minutes to extend the service life of the pump oil.
10. When stopping using the pump, in order to maintain a certain degree of vacuum in the vacuum system, the three-way valve should be rotated to close the vacuum system and the suction pipe of the pump should be connected with the atmosphere. Cut off the power and stop running. Close the exhaust port and cover the pump cover tightly.
