Vacuum pump refers to the device or equipment that uses mechanical, physical, chemical or physicochemical methods to extract air from the container to obtain vacuum. Generally speaking, vacuum pump is a device to improve, generate and maintain vacuum in a closed space by various methods, which is widely used in pharmaceutical food and other industries.

In recent days, some customers have reported that the vacuum degree of the vacuum pump is always not up to the standard. It has been good before. Suddenly, the vacuum degree has dropped a lot. What is the situation? In this regard, the technical personnel of an enterprise have made relevant answers, and the author has sorted them out as follows:

1、 The vacuum pump itself leaks

1. Air leakage of sealing ring

Solution: check the sealing condition of all sealing parts and replace the damaged sealing ring.

2. The gasket of air ballast valve is damaged or not tightened.

Solution: replace the gasket and tighten the air ballast valve.

3. The exhaust valve plate is damaged and the sealing is not good.

Solution: change the valve piece.

4. When the diaphragm is pressed into the vacuum pump, the interference is too large, resulting in the deformation of the vacuum pump cavity and air leakage.

Solution: the vacuum pump cavity should be repaired or replaced.

5. Air leakage is caused by poor oil seal on the end face of vacuum pump.

Solution: the end cover should be removed to check whether there are impurities or unevenness, and clean or repair.

2、 There is a problem with the oil in the vacuum pump

1. The oil level is too low.

Solution: add enough oil to the center line of oil gauge.

2. The oil is polluted and the oil quality is deteriorated.

Solution: replace with new oil.

3. The brand of oil does not match.

Solution: the vacuum pump oil of the specified brand should be replaced.

4. The oil circuit is blocked, and the vacuum pump cavity does not maintain the appropriate amount of oil.

Solution: check the oil flow and the oil valve to keep the oil circuit smooth.

The filter screen at the air inlet is blocked

Solution: remove the filter screen, clean it, and then install it,

The spring of the rotor is deformed or broken, and the action of the rotating blade is not flexible

Solution: the spring deformation should be repaired or replaced to make the rotor's accumulated rotor blades fit well,

3、 The temperature of vacuum pump is too high

1. The temperature of the extracted gas is too high.

Solution: the gas should be allowed to cool before entering the vacuum pump.

2. Inhale hard materials to wear the vacuum pump body.

Solution: the vacuum pump should be disassembled to remove hard objects and repair or replace the scratched parts.

3. The cooling water flow of vacuum pump is not enough.

Solution: increase the cooling water flow.

4. Improper assembly makes the rotor axis shift and causes single side wear.

Solution: disassemble, check and reassemble.

Excessive fit clearance due to poor machining or wear

Solution: check the fit clearance between the vacuum pump cavity, rotor, rotor and end cover plate, and repair or replace it according to the specified accuracy requirements.

Too high temperature rise of vacuum pump makes vacuum pump oil thinner and sealing worse

Solution: cooling water or electric fan should be used to cool the temperature. At the same time, check the fit clearance of relevant parts and repair or replace according to the specified accuracy requirements.

The technical personnel of the enterprise pointed out that at present, many micro vacuum pumps on the market do not have the function of adjusting vacuum degree, only by adding valves.

For example, a precise pressure relief valve is installed at the suction end of the pump. When the vacuum degree is high, open the valve to reduce the vacuum degree. It is understood that some fine pressure relief valves can also discharge toxic gases to the specified channel of the container. In addition, the intelligent vacuum pump can also be used to set the negative pressure and adjust the flow rate.
