1. Installation of XD rotary vane vacuum pump

XD rotary vane vacuum pump should be placed horizontally. With the pump running almost no vibration, generally can not be fixed. There are metric screw holes on the bottom damping pad of XD rotary vane vacuum pump to fix the pump. Do not push and pull the pump on the ground to avoid damaging the damping pad.

In order to ensure the good cooling of XD rotary vane vacuum pump, the inlet and outlet of cooling air should be more than 30cm away from the surrounding objects. For the convenience of maintenance, it is suggested to leave a gap of 0.4m in front of the inlet and outlet of XD rotary vane vacuum pump. For the convenience of oil drainage, a base with oil drain pan can be installed.

XD rotary vane vacuum pump is delivered without oil. After installation, slowly inject the specified vacuum pump oil through the oil filler to 3 / 4 of the oil window height.

2. Electrical connection of XD rotary vane vacuum pump

The electrical wiring of XD rotary vane vacuum pump must be carried out by professional electrician. Suitable motor overload protection devices shall be used.

The single-phase 220 V 50 Hz vacuum pump must work within the voltage range of 220 V ± 10%. If the voltage is lower than 220 V, it must be equipped with AC power regulator. Do not work under low voltage and high voltage for long time to avoid damaging the motor.

After the wiring of three-phase asynchronous motor of XD rotary vane vacuum pump is completed, the rotation direction of motor must be checked. The correct rotation direction of the motor is: from the fan end of the motor tail, the rotation direction of the motor shaft is anticlockwise.

When checking the rotation direction of XD rotary vane vacuum pump, the suction port should be opened or covered with rubber plate (thickness more than 4mm), and the power supply should be turned on for 2 ~ 3 seconds. If the rotation direction is correct, a strong suction force will be felt at the suction port or the rubber plate will be sucked tightly. In case of reverse, switch any two of the three power lines.

Note: XD rotary vane vacuum pump will be damaged if it runs in wrong direction for a long time.

3. System connection of XD rotary vane vacuum pump

The size of inlet pipe of XD rotary vane vacuum pump should not be less than that of suction port and should be as short as possible. The threaded joints are vacuum sealed with loctite 515 or Teflon tape.

If there is dust in the extracted gas, dust filter must be installed at the inlet end of the pump. If necessary, the exhaust pipe can be connected, and the exhaust pipe should be inclined downward.

4. Start up of XD rotary vane vacuum pump

After the oil level is determined, XD rotary vane vacuum pump can be started. After the first start and after each change of wiring, the rotation direction must be checked before starting XD rotary vane vacuum pump.

5. Operation of XD rotary vane vacuum pump

Before normal operation, it is advisable to close the intake pipe valve to make the pump run for more than 15 minutes under the limit pressure state, so as to effectively remove the water vapor in the gas. The motor should not be started frequently (it should be less than 6 times / hour). It is suggested to install the solenoid valve on the inlet pipe of the pump during intermittent cycle operation, and close the solenoid valve in the non working stage to make the pump work under the limit pressure state. In this way, the power consumed by the motor is not much, but it can effectively protect the vacuum pump.

Note: 1. During normal operation, the surface temperature of oil separator, pump rest and pump cover will exceed 70 ℃, do not touch by hand.

2. XD rotary vane vacuum pump can not be refuelled during operation.

6. Limit pressure measurement of XD rotary vane vacuum pump

The limit pressure of XD rotary vane vacuum pump should be measured directly by compression vacuum gauge at the suction port of the pump. When the pump is used for the first time, used after a long period of storage, or after changing the new oil, the air inlet should be closed. After running for at least 1 hour, the XD rotary vane vacuum pump can reach the working temperature and the limit pressure can be measured after the pump oil is fully degassed.
